Pride Games is an annual international LGBT sport festival for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their friends. With a range of sports held at various venues in Manchester, it’s the perfect opportunity to try a new sport, re-awaken old talents or brush up on current skills…have loads of fun and meet new people!

Already registered for a Pride Games event on the 8 or 9 of June? Great! Accreditation will be taking place at the Lesbian & Gay Foundation (LGF), 5 Richmond Street, Manchester, M1 3HF in the heart of Manchester’s Gay Village on Friday 7 June from 4pm – 10pm. Here you will receive your accreditation pass, your tournament t-shirt (if one is included in your tournament fee) and useful information for your time in Manchester. Once you have registered, you can take your accreditation pass and head to Taurus Bar for a free welcome drink (Those arriving early for Friday’s badminton or on Saturday morning may register at their sports venue). As well as a great sporting tournament, Pride Games is an opportunity to socialise with fellow competitors from all tournaments. The official Pride Games brunch at The Cornerhouse in the centre of Manchester is the perfect way to unwind after your Saturday event…or build up to your Sunday one! The cost is £10. Youth Games, Saturday 8 June
Pride Games and LGBT Youth North West bring you the only LGBT Youth Games in the UK! Come along and try archery, cycling, climbing, volleyball, basketball and more. The Track and Field Meet on Sunday 9 June is the final event of Pride Games and the perfect way to finish your weekend. The emphasis is on fun and variety (with a bit of competition and medal hunting of course) so come along with your teammates and friends and give it a go. It’s only £6 for all the track and field activities you can think of!
